Designing with water
The Teuco project is inspired by phenomenon of water and its power to carve and smooth masses when flowing through them. The result is a fluently flowing space where gentle curves and softly carved surfaces find their place. Teuco products are the result of constant research on wellness as the final goal of their high end sanitary products. The showroom is both a translation of this concept into an architectural space and a didactical paradigm the brand’s philosophy.

The wall of the 5 senses
The only geometrically straight line in plan is the wall of the 5 senses that from the entry on the street leads the visitor throughout the ground floor, where the products are presented, and down towards the basement where products can be tested in a spa area.
On this wall five “stations” are dedicated to the experience of each one of the five senses. The concepts on which every Teuco product is based on are reunited in one, strong, architectural element organizing the space.

The shore of products
Opposite to the wall of the 5 senses, a slightly raised podium is the stage for the presentation of the products. A curvilinear element, gently winding through the space in a sinuous and continuous movement from the front window and through the main space. its vertical wall is a stage backdrop, cladded with laminated wood strips.

Water planes
Water is present not only as a concept but it is materially present and “controlled” to define spaces
A water wall divides the meeting room from the showroom area, it becomes an horizontal glazed walkway that end on a small waterfall. The play between water and light through it creates a magic effect of reflections and vibrating shadows.
